From 1993 Marco Colasanti is Managing Director and Art Director of the Novafer company with the responsibility to introduce new products with high aesthetical and functional content. In 1994 he creates the Marco Colasanti Design company and he begins to collaborate as Industrial Designer with different firms. In 1996 he is Selected for the “Italian Design Award” with the telephone-caddy Frank. He receives a Special Mention for his stool ALPHA in the contest “Aeroplana Grandesign 2001”, competition based on invitations which select more than 3.000 designers. In 2002 he wins the International Design Competition named “Worldframe Sport, Fashion & Techno” organized by the Safilo Group with the trade-mark Carrera. In 2003 for the 2003 eMotion in Motion international design competition, he has received an Honourable Mention for Daffy kettle. His products are published on all the best specialized magazines and they have been introduced in various international shows. He is a member of ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) and BEDA (the Bureau of European Designers' Associations) since 1996 and from 2003 he is member of the directive one of the delegation ADI Centro. Marco Colasanti is internationally known as one the most versatile and innovative industrial designer. Each constructive element is the result of a deepened search of design and a selective choice of materials, that vary from traditional to more innovative and sought after, used all to try to confer to the objects the maximum possible result.
